1. Acceptance

By using WEFT's web applications you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Weft Technologies Ltd provides the WEFT platform to management companies. End users (residents, owners, property managers, contractors) use the service as authorised by their management company.

2. Permitted use

You may use WEFT only for lawful building communication and related purposes. You must not:

  • Misuse resident or contractor personal information
  • Attempt to access another management company’s data
  • Send spam or abusive content
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the service

3. Account security

Sign-in uses email magic links and one-time codes. Keep your email account secure. Do not share sign-in links or codes with others.

4. Communications

Management companies may send building-related notifications (safety notices, maintenance updates, and similar service messages). These are part of building communication, not marketing opt-in lists.

5. Building information (AI-assisted)

Where your building manager has published building knowledge, the people app may offer AI-assisted answers to questions about rules and guides. Answers are generated from published documents and include citations where possible. They are summaries only — official wording is in the cited documents. For disputes, emergencies, or matters not covered by published material, contact your building manager. Do not rely on AI answers in place of emergency services (call 111 in an emergency).

Management companies are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of documents they upload or link for this feature.

6. Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance may occur.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Weft Technologies Ltd’s liability is limited. The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Counsel will refine this section before production.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
